# Use voice

> Speak your question instead of typing it. Useful on site or on the move.

Don't feel like typing, or are you on site? Just speak your question.

    You'll find the microphone at the bottom right of the input box. While recording, the microphone turns red and you see how long you have been speaking.

  <Step title="Speak your question">
    You can speak for up to **2 minutes** at a time.

  <Step title="Stop the recording">
    Click the microphone again. Your question appears as text in the input box. Tooli doesn't send it yet: you can read it through first.

  <Step title="Check and send">
    Read the text and edit it where needed. Send your question with the arrow.
  </Step>

<Tip>
  You don't have to phrase it perfectly: you can always edit the text before you send it. Trade terms, brand names or abbreviations are sometimes recognised incorrectly, so check those.

  Using voice for the first time? Your browser then asks permission to use your microphone. Click **Allow**.
