Tooli doesn’t know your site. The more you tell it about your situation, the better the answer matches what you need. You don’t have to write a long text: a few sentences are enough.

The 4 W’s

Keep these four points in mind with your question. You don’t have to use all of them, but every point you add makes the answer sharper.

Who

Who are you, or who is the answer for?E.g. “I’m a joiner”, “it’s for a client with no construction knowledge”.

What

What exactly do you want to know or have done?E.g. “which build-up do you recommend”, “check my quote”.

Where

What is the situation on site?E.g. building type, year of construction, materials, existing condition.

Which format

How do you want to receive the answer?E.g. “as a step-by-step list”, “short”, “as an email to my client”.

An example

How do I insulate a flat roof?
Tooli then gives you a general answer, which may not fit your roof.

Ask follow-up questions

Within the same chat, Tooli remembers what you asked earlier. You don’t have to explain your situation again each time. Feel free to ask further:
  • “Can you summarise that more briefly?”
  • “What if the roof has a timber structure?”
  • “Write this out as an explanation for my client.”
Starting a different topic? Start a new chat. That keeps Tooli focused, and you can find your chats more easily later.

Check important answers
